Summer is almost over and temperatures are finally on the decline (for which I am extremely grateful). I am from Buffalo, New York. A place that is famous for its’ cold temperatures, snow and chicken wings. I like the cold. I enjoy snow in April and temperatures around or below 60 degrees which means summer temperatures for me are pretty uncomfortable. And when the AC fails I do what many of you do, call the HVAC contractor. They are my saving grace from May through September. And I am sure I am not alone.
Unfortunately, summer can make people a little irascible and when you’re an HVAC contractor that anger can sometimes be redirected back at you. If property is damaged or a person gets injured that means you could be exposing yourself to a potential lawsuit. And, to be quite honest, you guys as HVAC contractors deserve the protection and respect that you give to your customers during the hot summer months.
How to protect yourself?
Even if you were the most careful contractor in history there is still a chance that something could go wrong. It is a high risk job and one where it pays to be protected from all sorts of potential issues. HVAC Contractor Liability Insurance will give you the protection you need. But, in order to get the proper coverage you will need to identify what kind of work that you do and what level of risk is associated with your business. This will help us determine the extent of the coverage that you need in order to safely operate your business.
HVAC contractor liability insurance will cover any legal fees and damages that you may or may not be responsible for. If you need any further coverage beyond those legal fees and damages we will be more than happy to discuss that with you.
